Supajam Safehouse Sessions: The Album

August 2, 2012

Wow, Supajam reviews Supajam. I wonder how this one will turn out.

All artists on this compilation have been selected to represent Supajam at the Oakley Safehouse for Olympic athletes over the next two weeks. Our goal is always to get the best new music out to the world, but as these shows aren’t too easy to get into we came up with another way of getting the music to you. By releasing a free album!

Opening with the effortlessly cool sound of Jacob Banks, the bar is set high. It’s set high because we decided it had to be, this isn’t just to entertain mere mortals. These have to entertain Olympians! People whose ears are used to the sound of gold striking bare chest. We move on to Supajam favourite Adam Barnes, whose track ‘She Will Stay Beneath The Moon’ is included in this collection. It’s a heroic number that has an earthy passion.

Moving on through the album there are bright lights from a number of styles, Danni Nicholls provides some bold yet delicate Country, Jay Brown gives a highly unique twist on the often tired singer-songwriter ideal.

This is just a start, to dive in and taste all the fruits then you can download the album here.
