Rating the Glastonbury leaks and fakes

March 6, 2025

Glastonbury have released their official lineup – well the first part but all the headliners and many of the major names are out.

Of course, this is 2025 and the age of clickbait and clout, so people had been releasing ‘leaked’ lineups and fake lists to get some views. We thought we’d compare them to the actual poster and see how they did.

The Big Fake

This is the poster that came out the night before claiming to be the real leak. There’s a fake BBC logo, similar colours and… well they got the headliners right, they got Biffy and Alanis but then it all falls apart. Pulp are not announced, a slew of big acts like Deftones, Prodigy, Amyl and the Sniffers etc. are missing. The poster doesn’t even work as a dream lineup with prominent and so far wrong slots for… Mika and Natasha Bedingfield??? 3/10

The Dream

This poster is fascinating, as it got a lot right – the headliners, Prodigy, Charli, Deftones etc – but also includes a lot of bands we’d love to see. Pulp? Chappell Roan? Inject it into our veins (like insulin, don’t do drugs kids). There’s still time though, right? 6/10

The Goal From Midfield

Other than rubbing in the fact we can’t, yet, queue up to watch Chappell Roan, this one’s very good. It’s not billed as a leak or real, simply as their ‘prediction’. Which means we want their go at the lottery numbers and Glastonbury HQ might want to get their email server looked at. 7/10

The Mail

Ah shit, we have to admit the Daily Mail got something right. Whose idea was this article? 9/10

The Sarcastic

10/10 No Notes.
