It’s now become the norm with this platform that you’ll be waiting 2+ years for your favourite series of like, 8 episodes to return, kinda boring to the point we’re no longer excited for them to return as we don’t remember the previous series. But it’s fine, I’m sure there’ll be a recap? The recaps are the most pathetic thing ever, they barely have context enough to jog memory of what happened. Why do we want to rewatch when we’ve waited so long? They’re never that good twice.

I come to watch The Recruit and I have no clue. I don’t remember the characters at all or the scenario in detail. Says something, right? I’m confused as to what is actually going on. It feels as though the past has been disregarded in this season and is barely mentioned. It has them jumped past and onto a new story. It’s barely gripping. It feels like an American James Bond except at least there was something cool about Bond.

It feels very rushed and too fast. Don’t lie and say you didn’t have time to think of the story. This is really pathetic. I’m disappointed once again. The standards for everything TV have slipped beyond recognition. How is there no embarrassment? How is it acceptable? I’m secondhand embarrassed at this.

The Night Agent has also returned at a similar time, all I remember is him sitting at a desk and then potentially getting it on with someone on the other end of the phone.

Can we start writing memorable stories? Please!!!! I beg. If we’re expected to wait so long, make the show hold our minds hostage for that whole time. Other series manage to do it. Do better!

We have Ginny & Georgia coming back in June now. The only bits I remember are the wedding where Georgia is arrested at the end. Ginny living with her Dad. Arguments within friend groups over guys, are we surprised? I know we’re gonna get a shoddy recap. I hope this season won’t disappoint, for some reason it’s always the second or third season that messes up. I kind of want to know how they’re going to tackle the way obvious growing up of Austin. There’s no way they can play it off naturally. A time jump would be strange, mainly because if they use Georgia staying in prison, who would legally take care of Austin? We will see how it goes.
