As someone pretty friendly with the main actress, Cindy Sampson, I had a feeling something was missing from the conversations but I didn’t know what, now we know. It’s back, baby. This time on the west coast set in, B.C. I could scream and cry, like “My Shayla” you know the meme? It’s so precious.
Shade and Angie back together, hopefully this time together, together if you know what I mean *wink face.*

We never really got true closure from this show due to the fact even the cast didn’t know it was ending until after they’d wrapped, there was no goodbye, no solid ending. Luckily it was an open one. We never got “Shangie” after 5 seasons of hype. Do you know how that feels?! I can’t say I wasn’t distraught. I absolutely sobbed. There was room for that perfect moment and it didn’t happen. Kind of like the ending of Twisters where the kiss was cut. Yep, disappointing too. Genuinely, they owe the fans this. They owe us. We ride at dawn for Shangie, as we should. I want to see the chaos that a relationship would throw, they’re so opposite and that’s what makes it work.

Also, I want to know where Jules is at now. What’s she doing with her life? Is she on the east coast or is she still in Toronto? Or has she moved to Italy since she loves it there? We need answers.

It’s a dramatic and funny show in the perfect way that works and it coming back is the announcement of the decade for me. Genuinely not joking. It comes above even my series. I was naturally drawn to the binary opposite of characters, they were also very real. They were 3D unlike most these days. You got to know them like they were friends. You’d be so excited every week. Can’t wait for that feeling to return.

The only ever show besides this one that gave me the same/similar vibe is High Potential. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the reason that sparked the return. I could imagine the absolute conflict if the teams joined forces.

Anyway, I can’t wait to hear more and see what is coming. I hope we get to meet some more amazing characters and that the happiness continues. Also, we riot if in the years between 2021 and 2025/2026? Shade and Angie aren’t an item. Who is with me?!
