We love a good cover at Supajam, and Lolli Wren has been quietly putting out some belters.

She’s had a powerful stab at System of a Down’s Lonely Day and made it far more relatable with the video one of those awkward teenage parties.

But it’s Hurt where she really shines. Given that both Nine Inch Nail’s original and Johnny Cash’s cover are equally legendary, it takes some nerve to cover it… but while the former is drug despair and the latter is the weight of age, Lolli makes Hurt into the suffering of the average life.
