Okay, as soon as I saw it was out, I had to watch and I have no regrets at all. It was all around amazing and gives food for thought. How with all the technology developments is there still unanswered questions. Even after the documentary.

We’re still waiting on DNA confirmation but everything is pointing to Arthur Leigh Allen, the school teacher who has been the police’s main suspect for decades. Some of his former students were interviewed in this documentary and talked about their experiences with him growing up. Linking into DNA, we found out that one of the former students sons was given a knife by Leigh Allen and it was kept in a box for a very long time. Some of the residue on the knife was positive for having blood but there’s no more on that at all.

It makes me wonder why nobody came forward much earlier to talk about knowing Leigh Allen, when talking about the zodiac film, they were saying it made them think it was him but that movie came out in 2007 so why wait over a decade and join a documentary instead of potentially helping with the investigation.

There’s so much weird stuff that after having a night to ponder on it, it doesn’t seem we’re any closer to answers. One of the ciphers was decoded a few years ago and practically said that one of the former students, Connie was a next killing target. Arthur had a thing for her and grooming was mentioned quite a few times in descriptions of their relationship. He had many opportunities to go after her but didn’t. He knew where she was at the time which was New York. Surely he could have tracked her down if he had her phone number. It doesn’t add up at all. They went on a boating trip and she eventually inherited the boat from him. It makes me thinking that the letter was a fake?

I’ve read multiple sources that Leigh Allen provided handwriting samples on multiple occasions and they weren’t a match. There’s surely ways to get around that. Fingerprints apparently weren’t a match either but then again, due to lack of tech, it may not have been accurate.
He insisted till his death and in a letter after dying it wasn’t him. However, when Zodiac was on a killing hiatus, Arthur was in prison. There was no killings till he was released. He was in all the places the killings were at the same time and former students corroborated that.

A year or so ago, there was a viral post online of someone confessing that their recently deceased friend was the zodiac and he knew the entire time. It’s not entirely believable.

The police still to date get people sending “evidence” into them but nothing substantial.

There’s something missing, question is, will it ever be found?
