First of all, let this be an example of why you don’t wait 2-3 years between productions of a TV show. Continuity can get messed up in a big way. Isaac Ordonez, who plays Wednesday’s brother, Pugsley, has had a tremendous growth spurt since production of the first series. He was the same height as Jenna Ortega, who plays his never blinking sister; now he is towering over her in the most recent trailer. While Jenna looks the same dressed as the titular character.

The trailer starts off with a comical scene with Wednesday at an airport and going through the metal detector and proceeding to pull out various weapons from around her person, including her shoe. The only issue they have is a small bottle of hand lotion that Thing seems to have snuck in her luggage. A comical take on the USA’s love of weapons and their post-9/11 ‘anything is a bomb’ attitude when boarding flights.

We then meet back up with the Addams family as they drive Wednesday back to Nevermore Academy and it seems like Pugsley is taking after his Uncle Fester in the power department despite the ridiculous growth spurt.

Wednesday’s dorm which she shares with Enid is full of life and activity which is the definition of hell for her an heaven for Enid which goes to show again how much they are polar opposites of each other.

We get a glimpse that this season will be more horror focused than the previous one with images of dolls moving on their own and a pretty large doll Wednesday gives to Enid which I’m calling will move like Chucky. We see familiar faces as well as new ones and the action is so fast that we get the sense that Wednesday is in more danger than normal which could affect the entire family.
