Finally after however many years of waiting for this adorable and quirky show, it’s back and sadly, it’s already completed. 8 episodes of around 25 minutes or so, it wasn’t enough.
I am so so happy that Kitty got to meet her family that she so desperately wanted to find for years. She unlocked a lot about herself and her Mom who died as a kid. It was cute and wholesome. I actually cried about the reunion.
Stella aka Ester, worst character ever. Knew from the introduction she was way too nice not to be up to something. It felt a bit cliche that people fell for her act. It felt a bit petty though to hold a grudge for so many years and take it out on everyone. Girl, go to therapy like a normal person. But seriously, if you were embarrassed by someone years ago, would you want to sabotage every moment of their life? I doubt it, you’d have moved on. Common sense. However, I would say she had great character development.
The amount of cheating and love triangles this season was way too much. It took up a lot of the plot and was kind of pathetic. It’s been done to death, we didn’t need another season of it. There was better drama to do without that.
Dae, is one of my favourites, he’s always looking out for others. He’s a good friend and very honest compared to the first season. I was very happy with his ending to the season. He deserved some happiness after feeling on a low in the beginning due to his break up with Kitty.
I think the best character of the season was Praveen, she was different and underused. She was cool.
I liked the character of Juliana but she takes a while to get used to. It felt like an ambush that her and Yuri were an item again. It didn’t make much sense. It felt a bit much.
It was good to see members of Kitty’s family come across to South Korea. It was surprising and unexpected.
It seems like a lot of characters are pretending to be someone else the whole time, they’re not authentic. They’re not true to themselves. Yuri can’t own up to anything. Her story was left on a cliffhanger and I hope that being broke will do her well. She might be nicer to others then.
