Fast Track to Galtres Winners

August 27, 2013

Our Fast track competition saw some amazing talent this year and we were really excited to see our winners perform at Galtres Festival. First to play were our overall winners Reap who owned the Duke Stage, kicking off the festival with a bang. Incorporating a variety of genres with melodic guitar and bass hooks that stuck in your head for hours and an awesome vocal performance from lead singer Dave Joynes, Reap went down an absolute storm with the audience. The crowd even demanded one more song! Now thats what we like to see! The band nailed both a softer and more aggressive sound, looking completely at home on stage. We hope they continue to tear up stages across the UK!

Our two other winners were Truly Ford and Mitch Laddie Band. With an incredibly mesmerising and beautifully soulful voice in the wonderful setting of the Big Top tent, Truly Ford captivated the audience with her wonderful vocals and equally impressive songwriting. A very powerful performance!

Last to play from our Fast Track competition but certainly not least were Mitch Laddie Band. The blues rock three piece from Newcastle definitely knew how to work a crowd keeping us moving on a rainy Saturday morning with toe tapping bass lines and old school soul style vocals. They even pulled out a few covers so we could hum along , we particularly enjoyed Little Thing by Jimi Hendrix good choice guys! !

A big well done to all our winners, what a great way to kick off the festival!
