From the start of their set it was evident that War Cry weren’t afraid of playing to the audience, putting on a performance that was entertaining for fans and newcomers alike.Shouting a string of “HEYS!” front man Victor Garcia got the crowd chanting along, although this was maybe overdone a little.
Guitarist Pablo Garcia was equally encouraging towards the crowd, pulling a series of bizarre facial expressions and occasionally seeming to interact directly with certain audience members, we got the impression War Cry were a very personable band for their fans.
The entire band seemed to be genuinely enjoying the performance – never have we seen a keyboard player rock out so hard! With a set that consisted of Power Metal songs and very distinctive vocals by Garcia, it seemed that War Cry lived up to their reputation as one of Spain’s most notable Heavy Metal bands.
