As much as we’re excited for May 17th’s lockdown relaxation and the chance for people with someone to hug to hug them, we‘re actually really buzzing for May 22nd because that’s Live At Worth Farm, aka the Glastonbury Festival livestream event.
As well as Haim (who plugged it at the Brits last night), Idles, Wolf Alice, Michael Kiwanuka and some unknowns called Coldplay, we also now know there will be George Ezra and Roisin Murphy, while PJ Harvey and Jarvis Cocker will be doing ‘spoken word narrative’ to tie the whole thing together, so basically it’s like watching the BBC coverage of Glasto and flicking between Jackanory.
It’s a five hour event on the 22nd, and the 23rd will feature the same event being rerun twice, which Glasto is calling an encore day and we’re calling repeats. Here’s the set times:
