Glastonbury has held the finals of its emerging talent competition and judges which included Eavis senior and Eavis junior, as well as their bookers, have chosen a winner.

The lucky act gets to play the Woodsies stage at the real festival and receives £5000 in talent development funds.

And the winner is… indie band Westside Cowboy! They’ve only been together eighteen months and you can see a clip from the final below.

There’s more good news: two runner’s up were declared and they will both be given a slot on Woodsies too. So congratulations to Nat Oaks and Mali Haf!
