Beth Gibbons of Portishead is to release a second solo album. This has us very excited as her first starts with the songs Mysteries, one of the most beautiful pieces of music we’ve ever heard.
The new one is called Lives Outgrown, and is out May 17th. It’s billed as Beth musing on life, and where she is in it.
The new single is ‘Floating in a Moment’. It begins with acoustic guitar and gets wonderfully emotive. Beth’s voice is still superb. Truly great to get more of her solo work.
