Black Deer Focus: Isabella Coulstock

By MediaMonkey

November 20, 2020
2020 wouldn’t have been the first time Isabella Coulstock would have been on the Black Deer Festival lineup, but despite that she is still only eighteen, a child prodigy in the utterly cool, country music producing sense rather than the nerdy one. She’s based in Kent, not Nashville, but has already logged a Bob Harris session and aspiring musicians really don’t need to know how fantastically young she was when she bagged that (also, she’s supported Jools Holland).

We’ve got a cut called First Love for you today, because Isabella isn’t trying to be someone she’s not, recorded live earlier this year when we were still aloud to do things like gather in a communal space larger than a cupboard.

Oh yes, you know we said she opened for Jools? Our second embed is from one of those gigs (we don’t just throw these together you know), and it’s called Poor Man’s Town.

Isabella Coulstock is performing on the Saturday of Black Deer Festival 2021. It takes place June 18-20 2021. Tickets from https://blackdeerfestival.com/
