Black Deer festival will be returning in 2023 to Eridge Park in Kent, and that means another great festival of Americana music, food, clothes and I think there were motorbikes, or am I hallucinating that?

The first wave of announcements is here, and I think I’m supposed to start with Bonnie Raitt and Nathaniel Rateliff, but I’m most excited about Calexico so, err, abusing that power in the title.

It’s not just Supajam working with them this year, the Independent newspaper is on board too. So, who else is playing? Lucinda Williams, Allison Russell, the Teskey Brothers… but there’s still many more to be announced.

The dates are: 16^th to 18^th June 2023
