Blur played Coachella this weekend and were visibly frustrated with an uninterested crowd.
They were on between Sublime and No Doubt, so it’s not like the audience weren’t there for older acts, but they weren’t keen on Blur.
Tensions boiled over when Damon Albarn tried to do some interaction during Girls and Boys, and they weren’t singing along. “You can do it better than that,” he said to gee them up. When that failed he said “You’re never seeing us again, so you might as well fucking sing it. Know what I’m saying?”
