A lot of the world is currently hanging on every scrap of news about a poorly built sub with five people in it which has got lost while doing a tourist trip to the Titanic. Somebody at Channel 5 thought, hey, this is the perfect time to do a documentary on it.

Really:

It boggles the mind why you’ve doing a documentary when the search is still ongoing, and it’s bizarre how they’re going to get enough material to do it. It’s also massive ambulance chasing at this point, no one knows if there will be a rescue.

But we do pity the interns at Channel 5 who’ve been awake for 48 hours having to prepare this.
