After yesterday’s gloves off hoo-ha, when Damon Albarn appeared to impugn Taylor Swift and she shot back with tweets, peace has broken out with Albarn giving a complete apology…. And blamed the whole thing on the reporter turning him into clickbait:
“I totally agree with you. i had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait. I apologise unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand. – Damon”
Not sure anyone actually believes he didn’t mean it, but the record will show public contrition.
