DC comics ordered cartoon axe a scene where Batman eats out Catwoman
In news we never thought we’d have to write, DC Comics have made it canon that Batman doesn’t go down on his lovers. Or at least Catwoman, because they have asked for an animated Harley Quinn series to cut the scene they’d made because… well… apparently good sex doesn’t sell toys?
Here’s Justin Halpern of Harley Quinn explaining to Variety
: “A perfect example of that is in this third season of ‘Harley’ [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”
He’s no hero of mine.
