For a while now we’ve known there will be a new Captain America film, starring the new man to wield the shield Anthony Mackie… and until today it’s been titled Captain America: New World Order.

Obviously people in Disney have decided that the mass of conspiracy bullshit which goes along with ‘New World Order’ is going to be a problem, and have changed it to Captain America: Brave New World.

Given the titles, you can see how they’d be walking into a firestorm. However, it’s not like Brave New World isn’t full of connotations they, it would appear, haven’t actually realised. You’ll have to wait a year for the cinema though, May 3rd 2024, plenty of time to read Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World and wonder what the fuck Disney are doing.
