Doves have announced they’ll be playing three intimate gigs, and they’ll be doing so this month. There is, however, a twist.
Frontman Jimi Goodwin will not be at them, as he continues to work on his mental health. Instead band members and brothers Andy and Jez Williams will both take over singing duties.
November 27 – Stoke
November 28 – Birkenhead
November 29 – Hebden Bridge
There is no animosity or upset here. Jimi says he’s not ready to gig yet, but knows the rest of the band are, so they’re doing a little bit now. Everyone is fully on board.
