Historians will spend a long time discussing how social media reformatted human minds and culture in this era, and a footnote might mention that the 2020 Dua Lipa album was affected by it. Well, historians love a good footnote.
A random start, but based on the fact Dua has told the Gurl’s Talk podcast how taking a rest from the horrors of Facebook et al was necessary to produce the LP. She famously deleted her social accounts to improve her mental health, and her output was positively affected as a result.
She’s not wrong, humanity has yet to evolve to deal with what we’ve unleashed.
