It is time for Manchester’s Beyond the Music festival, in which seventeen venues will host over a hundred artists… and Liam Gallagher will voice a tram.

Yes, the mayoral office of Andy Burnham asked Liam Gallagher if we would do the voice of the tram announcements on a line for the duration of the festival, and the mad lad said yes.

“When the request was first made by Andy Burnham, Liam loved the idea of surprising tram users by doing the announcements, and he was given the chance to choose his favourite line… You’ll have to get on to a tram into the city to find out which it is.”
