Glastonbury Unveil Lineup: The Ten Acts We’re Most Excited About

The first Glastonbury Lineup announcement is here, and it’s the headliners everyone looks to first. We have Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Shania Twain and SZA at the top of the bill and many, many more below them. So, at first pass, these are the ten acts we’re most excited to see:

The Last Dinner Party
Last year’s performance at Glastonbury showed a band completely at ease with such a big event, and now they’ve got a brilliant album and the Supajam best song of 2023 award. Essential.

Nothing But Thieves
We’re not thrilled Nothing But Thieves reissued their album so soon with a bonus track, but they’ve been writing such great music for so long and not getting the credit they deserve.

Fontaines DC
Such brilliant, powerful performers with a high dollop of mystique, this is an act that will transport you from the field to a different world.

These legends never disappoint, and to quote Scooter, deliver an aural orgasm. We’re expecting a set of bliss.

Michael Kiwanuka
Rich, lush music, a heavy dollop of heartache, Michael’s carved an award winning career by being an exemplary songwriter.

Fresh off a number one album, Idles will take the stage with the audience wondering if they’ll break out into the dance moves at any point.

Yes, we will be reliving 90s pop club nights with the Sugababes, who seem to have a necromancer on staff for their career.

The Breeders
The Breeders never got the credit they deserved as one of the best acts of their era, so we’ll definitely be going. Not for nostalgia, but because they’re great.

PJ Harvey
Which PJ Harvey will we get? Will it be all stomping power or emotionally devastating quietness? Either is fine.

Cyndi Lauper
Supajam just wants to have fun.
