Graces Jones’ Meltdown Festival moved to 2022

Grace Jones was supposed to have curated the 2020 Meltdown Festival, and what an absolutely fascinating prospect it was. Of course, Covid got in the way, and the entire thing was postponed until 2021… which is now.

But there’s a major problem: it was supposed to happen June 11-20th, but the UK roadmap only ends restrictions on June 21st, aka the organisers could not run the festival they wanted. So, they have rescheduled again and moved the whole event to the surely safe date of June 10th to 19th 2022.

Many of the acts will also be back, with Solange, Peaches and Skunk Anansie confirmed. Sadly Jimmy Cliff and Ladysmith Black Mambazo are unable to do it. We’re there will be some great acts announced instead.

If you have a ticket, you will be contacted about what to do.
