HBO is creating a Harry Potter TV series which will air in 2027 and its unclear whether this will succeed or be an all time disaster.
The creative team are working hard however, but no one realised how hard. Showrunner Francesca Gardiner has reported that they’ve already auditioned over 32,000 children.
That is… a lot.
Gardiner said her team had been watching a thousand audition tapes a day and if you’re an actor sending tapes off be aware: she said decisions on No or Go Forward are often taken within the first minute.
Loving the Harry Potter movies hopefully they make a new one
