Humble Bundle’s fundraisers usually portion out the money three ways: covering their costs, money to the original publishers of the content, and some to charity. However, in May they ran their Humble Heal: Covid 19 bundle where 100% of all funds raised would go direct to charities fighting Coronavirus: Direct Relief, Doctors Without Borders, International Medical Corps, and GiveIndia.

With a mixture of games, other software and books the Bundle ran through May, and now the Humble team is ready to tell us the total: and it’s huge. They raised $1,170,824, and that’s going to change lives.

Direct Relief have spoken about why: “Their collective efforts will translate to critically-needed medicines, supplies, and other resources to the hardest-hit communities in India and Brazil as they continue to battle rising cases of COVID-19… The generosity received as a result of Humble Bundle’s effort is deeply inspiring and will serve as a force-multiplier to get more aid into these areas to improve the health and lives of those who are most vulnerable.”
