Ian Brown kicked off his first headline solo shows in a decade over the weekend… and brought new meaning to the term solo shows. Not only did he not have The Stone Roses with him, he had no band at all with him and performed alone. He was never the greatest singer, and the performance has drawn almost universal complaint, such as:

So, should he have a band? There’s been a few people defending this, but they are very much in the minority. £40 for a man who can’t sing, alone?
