Inbetweeners star now regrets his contribution to comedy

The Inbetweeners gave Blake Harrison the sort of role actors long for: instant recognition, entry into public vocabulary… and the sort they come to regret when it’s hard to move on. Blake is certainly struggling with regrets: he spoke to Scroobius Pip’s podcast Distraction Pieces and gave the following sad quotes:

“It’s weird because you think, well I don’t think I’ve given the world anything great, It’s like the word ‘clunge’. Or people shouting ‘bus wankers’ at people standing at bus stops… I’d kind of rather people didn’t do that. It doesn’t feel like the nicest or the best thing in the world to have contributed to.”

Aw. It’s worth pointing out that the Inbetweeners was the most realistic portrayal of school boys in our era we’ve seen so… okay let’s not follow that to it’s logical conclusion.
