Fyre Festival was a musical clusterfuck which became a metaphor for the whole influencer culture we might one day escape from. There’s been two excellent documentaries you couldn’t look away from, there’s still lawsuits (more were launched today by people attempting to claw back money to in turn pay creditors,) there were more headlines when the organised went to prison for fraud.
One person who has been in, well let’s just say a difficult situation, was Ja Rule, whose named was heavily promoted as being attached but who’s denied any actual responsibility. He’s now decided the best way to free himself is to release a rap song about it…
…and naturally it’s appalling. It is the musical equivalent of the festival. It has the rhyme Fellatio for evian. You have to hear it:
