Jarvis Cocker is up to something, and fans hope they know what it is. He’s posted something to his Instagram: a fifteen-second video of applause, with the text ‘what exactly do you do for an encore?”, as well as the text “Good question #overtoyou.”

The quote is a line from This Is Hardcore, and the titular album has it’s twenty-fifth anniversary next year leading fans to hope there’s some sort of comeback, maybe some gigs, maybe some new music. A reissue of the album seems likely… but ‘over to you’ makes us wonder if the fans will be involved somehow.

Obviously we’re hoping for new music! Or at least a good live album.
