Jeffrey Dean Morgan makes plea to be Batman
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been on our screens recently as Negan, the Walking Dead’s complicated anti-hero, but he’s got his sights set on a far bigger character: Batman. Now, if you think that’s a bit out there, there’s actually a very good reason why this could happen. Morgan played Bruce Wayne’s Dad Thomas in DC movie Batman V Superman, and in one famous comic storyline – Flashpoint- there’s an alternative reality where Thomas becomes Batman instead.
Jeffrey knows this, and told Cinepop “At the top of my list has always been Batman, that’s always been my favourite superhero… Talking about Flashpoint has been very fun, I get asked about it a lot. I love the story of Flashpoint Batman… Who knows? Who knows with DC? Who knows with how these franchises work? I suppose I probably have like another two, three-year window, and then I’m gonna be too old. There’s no way.”
“So, look, I’m available. Everybody knows I’m available. I say I’m available, I’ve been saying it for five years. We’ll see what happens. There’s so many superheroes.”
This should definitely happen. Snyder Cut social team, get on it.
