Jim Morrisons grave in Paris has been a site of pilgrimage for fans, many of whom leave their mark in colourful graffiti. At one point there was a bust of the singer, but it was stolen in 1988.
No one knew where the bust went, but this year French police investigating a case of fraud made a raid… and found the bust!
While no timeline of the bust’s location or suspect in the theft has been revealed, the fraud was completely unconnected. It was just a lucky coincidence.
