A UK tour called ‘Joker – Live In Concert’ is coming later this year, and we’re very excited. The event will see the 2019 DC movie – aka one of the best superhero related films ever – be screened alongside a live orchestra playing Hildur Guonadottir’s score.

If you go to the London event, you’ll see the original conductor too, Jeff Atmajian, although there are also dates at:

September, Sunday 26 London Eventim Apollo
October, Thursday 14 Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
October, Friday 15 Edinburgh Usher Hall
October, Sunday 17  Dublin Bord Gáis Energy Theatre
October, Tuesday 19 Birmingham Symphony Hall
October, Wednesday 20 Bath Forum
October, Monday 25 Southend Cliffs Pavilion
October, Wednesday 27 Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
October, Thursday 28 Brighton Dome
November, Monday 1 Manchester Bridgewater Hall
November, Tuesday 2 Liverpool Philharmonic
November, Tuesday 9 Cardiff Millennium Centre

Here’s some fluff from Hildur: “I’m thrilled to get to see and hear Joker in the cinema with a live orchestra,” said Guðnadóttir. “When we recorded the music, the orchestra brought such depth and detailed attention to the performances that we were all literally holding our breaths during most of the recording sessions. It was a beautiful trip. I’m so happy to get to go there again and for an audience to experience that too.”
