Kanye West had been due to headline every night of the Wireless Festival, but the government banned him from entering the cancel and the whole event was cancelled.

He’s found it hard to get gigs in a lot of other countries, although has played in Turkey, the US and elsewhere.

Kanye is, then, struggling to find places to play. Perhaps this is why he’d managed to announce – and sell out – two nights in St. Petersburg.

Since Russia attempted to conquer Ukraine and got stuck in a bloody, era defining war, most Western acts have boycotted the country, but Kanye doesn’t swim with the current does he, so I suppose this shouldn’t be a surprise.
