Karen O last worked with The Avalanches on their 2020 album ‘We Will Always Love You.’ As she puts it “The Avalanches last record ‘We Will Always Love You’ was a gift to humanity in 2020 and I’ll count it as one of my Top 10 forever.” She’s a bit of a fan.
It seems natural that she’d team with them again and she’s leant vocals to their new single ‘Blue Shadows.’
It’s built round a sample from a Blue Gas song called Shadows From Nowhere, and it’s a haunting affair.
