Kate Bush hasn’t released new music since 2011, and everyone wants her to… and something has changed. Perhaps she’s been reenergised by Stranger Things launching her classic to the top of the charts, perhaps something else.

Why do we say this? Kate has announced plans to record and release new music.

Speaking to the Today programme she said “And I’m very keen to start working on a new album when I’ve got [her archive work] finished. I’ve got lots of ideas and I’m really looking forward to getting back into that creative space, it’s been a long time.”
