Kim Petras is not the first trans woman to win a Grammy

A bit concerned so few places aren’t pointing out that Kim Petras, while great in Unholy, isn’t the first trans woman to win a Grammy. Wendy Carlos won in 1969, and although not publically out as a trans woman at that point was on HRT and has been established as a woman for many years by now.

She won for “Switched-On-Bach”, and went on to create some legendary movie soundtracks. Here she is.
