On Friday, the Neon City Festival in Vegas announced Macklemore would be headlining. Today they announced… he wouldn’t, “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
That’s all the organisers have said, but its widely believed to be his support of the Palestinians.
On the Saturday Macklemore released Hind’s Hall 2, a pro-Palestine, anti-genocide song featuring Palestinian artists whose proceeds go to the The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.
Hind’s Hall is a reference to protesting Columbia students renaming a hall after Hind Rajab, a child killed by Israel.
