Malaysia’s Good Vibes festival is coming back

Last year, the Good Vibes Festival is Malaysia was cancelled after the first night, when The 1975 singer Matt Healy criticised local LGBT law and kissed his bassist.

This was a problem, as while Healy could fly home, the organisers faced the ire of the government, the vendors were out of pocket, and the local acts lost gigs.

We cannot stress how much trouble the organisers were in. They could not fly off.

However, there’s good news, and they’ve managed to negotiate to a point where Future Sound Asia’s Good Vibes Festival will be returning July 20th and 21st.
