In a triumph for fans of 90s nostalgia, this week’s UK album chart battle features both Steps and manic Street Preachers.
Obviously, last week Drake and Certified Lover Boy hit the top thanks to streaming, but this week there’s a chance he’s toppled by the Manic’s Ultra Vivid Lament, and only three thousand sales behind, Steps’ ‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2’. (If you’re wondering, Manics sold more physical copies, Steps downloads.
We have to admit we’ve not heard anything from the new Steps, so, err, you know what we’ll be doing this afternoon.
Other contenders include The Stranglers and the Vaccines.
