I’ve met a few people over the years who’d merit the name The Heavy North but, in our best doorstopping you on a Sunday morning way, we’re here to talk about the band. They’re from Liverpool and play a soulful rock music of the sort headline seekers like to claim is going out of production. It isn’t.
They’ve got a string of releases behind them and a new single called No Good out July 2nd, so we’ve got the last release today. Called ‘Darkness In Your Eyes’, it begins stomping so well it could have been a hit any time over the last thirty years. Why it hasn’t we don’t know.
