The exodus of acts from the SXSW arts festival over the fact the US Military are there in an official capacity continues.

The haemorrhage of anti-genocide acts now include Kneecap and Lambrini Girls, as well as Rachel Chinouriri.

She released a statement that said she is “100% anti-war” and she had “grown up seeing the permanent effects war has had on people.” The military sponsorship was “an enormous oversight by SXSW and hopefully a huge learning experience to be more considerate about this in the future”. She will suffer “immense financial loss” but “this has been an extremely easy decision to make.”
