Morrissey spent the early part of the week making claims about Johnny Marr: he owns the Smiths brand completely, he blocked a greatest hits album and probably in Morrissey’s head he kills kittens.

Johnny Marr shot back with the truth, which appeared to be mostly: he tried to be fair to Morrissey but got ignored.

If we were waiting for some confirmation of Marr’s statement, well, I think we can assume it’s true because today Morrissey posted this:

“Morrissey has severed all connections with Red Light Management/Pete Galli Management.”

Ooops. Might have been some comms issues there.
