Ah, MTV Cribs, a programme where we all gawped at rock star excess and poor taste. Obviously what the world needs is a new generation, because on August 11th MTV Cribs is back in the US.
On the featured list is Rick Ross, Ashlee Simpson and… Martha Stewart? Well that’s better than the international comeback which ran last year and had Gemma Collins.
The creator of the show, Nina L. Diaz, has some grand claims: “Cribs didn’t simply introduce the celebreality genre, it created a blueprint for how we engage on social media.” Err, really?
