On July 17th it’ll be twenty years since Muse released Origin of Symmetry, aka their best album. Fight us. Clearly that’s a perfect reason to flog a new edition, and there’s… well here’s the thing. You can pre order something called ‘Origins of Symmetry (XX Anniversary RemiXX)’ and the reports we’ve seen call the new release both a “remix album” and a “remixed album” and those are very two different things.
There’s a song out to promote it, and it’s a new version of Citizen Erased whose seven minutes let the song breathe and are full of new details. So, basically, we may be getting remixes, or just new mixes, and either is fine with us but we can’t give you clarity on that one yet.
It’s out June 18th.
