New Alan Vega song released ahead of posthumous album

Alan Vega was a key member of Suicide, a band so influential even Bruce actual Springsteen did a song inspired by them, which on paper is such a bizarre combination even if it does sound great in the end. Sadly Alan died in 2016, but his widow Liz Kamere has produced and mixed what’s going to be a posthumous solo album of new work.

There’s a new cut from that today, called Filthy, and the Mutator LP follows April 23rd. Here’s Liz describing Filthy:  “‘Filthy”s anthemic zombie atmosphere challenges the listener to find the underlying message of hope that is always within Vega’s words and sound.”

If you like dark and dystopian, check it out.
