John Grant is building up to the release of his new Boy From Michigan album, due to be in our earholes June 25th, with Cate Le Bon producing. We’ve had slices of it before, including the horniest song about grammar ever, but today we have something serious: Billy.
“’Billy’ is a song about how many men destroy themselves trying to live up to stereotypes of masculinity and how this manifests in countless ways,” he explained in a statement, and it’s John Grant so you know he’s got something interesting to say.
