Classic videogame Life is Strange is getting a TV adaption and it should be the easiest thing in the world to do as the game is pretty much a TV show anyway.

Behind the scenes we have Amazon, IP owners Square Enix, Margot Robbie’s company Lucky Chap and showrunning with be Charlie Covell. However, one of the original writers has noticed something missing and tweeted about it.

“The only people not involved are the creators.”

Yes, none of the original writers or staff of Don’tNod, the team behind it, are involved and apparently not happy. There’s been some backlash too among long standing fans for not including them in any way.

Don’tNod’s executive producer Luc Baghadoust is playing things diplomatically: “Seeing the game created by Michel Koch, Roal Barbet, Jean-Luc Cano and our Don’tNod team becoming a show is an incredible honour.”
