Pitchfork’s owner merges it with GQ

Leading music opinion site Pitchfork has been owned by Conde Nast since 2015, but today it’s been announced the business will be merged into that of GQ magazine.

Some people at Pitchfork will be going, presumably others will follow.

In an era where music reviews are irrelevant, most music opinion sites are facing troubles, but this comes at a historic low point for modern journalism with news and pretty much other form of written media facing a tough future.
